Life of a Woman by Marimoto Kaoru in Russian Theatre

Morimoto Kaoru, famous for the drama Life of a Woman, was born in Osaka in 1912. After releasing works while a student at Kyoto University, he was active in many areas such as drama, translation, radio drama and movie scenarios before passing away at a young age.

In Russian translation the play was called Stolen Life.

The great actress Maria Babanova played the part of Nunobiki in 1959 at the Mayakovsky Theatre in Moscow.

The play was directed in Moscow by the Japanese young director Yoshiki Okada.
