Inscriptions and markings: To commemorate the occasion, a bronze plaque (created by sculptor Haig Patigan) was added to Lotta's Fountain in 1912, which read "To remember Christmas Eve, 1910, when Luisa Tetrazzini sang to the people of San Francisco on this spot."
