| Component Notes |
Set pieces on wheeled platforms allow the scene perspective to change during the performance. In this famous scene the character of Yuranosuke slowly departs from his master's household in dispair. As he exits the stage on the hanamichi runway, the gate and walls of the household recede, giving the impression of growing distance. |
