Jidaimono. Bunraku and kabuki It was first performed at Takemoto za in Osaka in April, 1739.　"Hirakana" means it made "Genpei seisuiki" easy to understand. "Sakaro" is a popularized name used in kabuki that comes from the scene at the end of the third act in which Matsuemon shows his skills at rowing.
